Making coaching mistakes is not being out-coached. Male had a punt return and a 78 yard run for their first two scores. Only the last 20 yard pass was a drive down the field for a score. Male also got the ball back with 1:26 left in the first half and let the clock run out on running plays. Male called a very conservative game. They could have scored right before the half. Scored again after receiving the second half kick and the game would have been over. Let's not forget that Male has had the best team these last three seasons, won the first game in a blow out only to win on missed extra points and head scratching calls. Trinity calling a play action on a third and one inside their twenty and of course accepting the penalty on the conversion, putting the offense on, only to send in the kicker after calling a timeout is baffling.

Food for thought.... You think Male believes they took the game or we gave it to them? After all, we were on the 1.5 yardline going for 2 to win, changed our mind & shanked an extra point Giving Male the win, just curious... Would've loved to see what would've happened had we snapped the ball on that 2 point conversion... we'll never know, oh well.. Awesome game up to that point.

In the end it doesn't matter. They had the lead and we were trying to catch up. They won, plain and simple.

The winner of this game is your state champ, and by a wide margin.

From what I've seen I would have to agree. SK and Lafayette are good teams this year, but IMHO these teams are a different level

Totally agree but wish we would've snapped the ball & I know they're glad we didn't, lol

Just proves in Big Games you have to win all 3 phases. Trinity won the offensive battle, 3 TDs, only gave up 2 TDs on Defense but failed on special teams.. Gave up a PR for a TD & 2 missed XPs, that's the difference, crazy.
