This was based on High School, not college. There is a big of enough difference in stats that Venneman should be first team.

I can answer. The band didn't win anything. For the parents that are not happy, teach your kid that you have to win something to get a trophy that means anything. Lastly the band is not important to the team. When was the last time the New England Patriots needed a band to win?

If my memory serves me right, OHS threw 2 ints on 4th and medium to long. 4th down execution made a big difference.

2004 there were only a handful of guys going 1 way. I was on that team and there were plenty of players going both ways. The O and D line had limited guys going both ways. I would say out of the 22 starters, I would say 8 to 10 went both ways. 2009 was the first year. in 2004 every practice had the offensive portion and the defensive portion. I believe 2009 had only offensive or defensive practice.

Each team is different. Dixie didn't schedule Highlands and this is the best team they have had in a while. Scheduling too tough can be bad (if a bad small school team scheduled Trinity, Male, Highlands, Bowling Green etc), but scheduling too easy can be worse (ie Johnson Central). Scheduling tough teams that you can be competitive with is important imo.

People often lose sight of what gives the best opportunity for the kid to succeed. If you don't want a kid to transfer, be better and make your program more appealing without excuses.

Some traditions change. Senior hits was one of them.
