Trinity's 2015 Schedule Is Complete

Featured Replies

And the volunteer is..........Lexington Lafayette! Only one out of county (thus, one out of state game for that matter) game for Trinity in 2015-16.

Brentwood Academy (Nashville) is the lone trip requiring a bus for a few of my friends and acquaintances in 2015. A trip to Ensworth (TN) awaits in 2016. In 2015, if Trinity can prevail in their new district, they will be at home or U of L for the first three rounds of playoffs. The Rocks' district (Ballard, Eastern, Jeffersontown, Seneca) will compete versus the slightly less-super district (Male, Manual, St X, PRP, Butler)in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs. The survivor of Region 2 would then travel to the Region 1 winner in round four, assuming the use of odd/even scenario utilized by the KHSAA.

Assuming that this playoff format is indeed how the schedule reads, wouldn't it be better to finish 5th rather than 4th in either district?

Absolutely!!!!Could it turn into a NBA situation, where teams "play down" to finish lower? :hilarious:

It was explained that scheduling is not an easy process. With the new district alignment, a lot of flexibility was lost. Male and PRP came on board early for the next two seasons. Farewell to Moeller, Cathedral, Carmel, Cocoa, Imhotep...it was good to know you.

Kind of a bummer, I liked the schedules recently, but it does save the long trips.

I goofed- Trinity's new home is district 4 and St X, et al are in district 3. The round three game would be at the home of the district three champion if both seeds are equal or if the district four seed is lower than the remaining district three survivor.

Is there a copy of their schedule somewhere online? I'd love to take a look at it.

Nope. Trinity is not prepared for the formal release until all "signed" contracts are received. :walk:

Ensworth

Brentwood

Male

Ballard

PRP

St. Xavier

Lafayette

Jeffersontown

Eastern

Seneca

Really like that schedule. Go 23 Rocks!

Ensworth

Brentwood

Male

Ballard

PRP

St. Xavier

Lafayette

Jeffersontown

Eastern

Seneca

Quite front-loaded.

Maryville, Tn has several openings for it's 2015 schedule. They aren't a private school, but, the best 6a public school in Tn.. They could compete with Ensworth, BA, MBA, etc., maybe even be slightly stronger.. Would be a great addition to Trinitys schedule..

You know, given CovCath's "Take on all comers" mentality, I'm surprised that these two don't play every once in a while. I'd love it.

I hope the Rocks and Colonels get together in the near future. Maybe the basketball game will lead to a football deal in two years.

One must consider that Trinity probably will see St X and Male in the playoffs next season and well into the future if NKY and LEX have their way.:isurrender:

Ballard is an up-and-comer with a few very talented former Rocks on their roster which will add some spice to their game. My bank account can take the break in interstate travel!:thumb:

I'm guessing the schedule would be laid out as such that Brentwood is a home game and Ensworth on the road one year and vice versa?
