Better question, why isn't Scott County putting more team speed on the field? To me, it sounds like they have more advantages than many other schools larger or smaller.
Highlands out-trained, out-schemed, and executed better than Scott County on that night, and the score showed that. Scott County wasn't as good. Scott County needs to be more like Highlands. According to some, they "should" be better than Highlands.
Get the best athletes to play football, run a system that works well with the athletes that do play, train them as good as possible for their position, execute, and do it better than the opponent. It's not Highlands fault Scott County lost and were slower, it is Scott County's fault. Be better.
