Bell-28 JC-12 I really like to watch Hilton's son play of "D". He is not the fastest kid, but he makes a boat load of plays. He may be the best LB in the mountains.

Breathitt 28 P-burg-20 Fugate will get back on track in this game. I wouldn't doubt that he could get over 200 yards rushing in this game.

I once was told a win is a win, but Pineville is picked third in a Class A district with Harlan, Hazard, and Jenkins. I still think MC has a game with another team from Bell Co., the Bobcats. Watts is one of the best players in the state, but games like Bell and Rock are true test games for kids like Watts. Good Luck to MC this season. That program has came a long way in the past 3 or 4 years.

Harlan will win this game because W-burg will not be able to stop the run. These two teams have produced some good battles since Donahue took over at Harlan. Look for the Burg to not get the ball as much as they would like because of Link and Pennington.

I believe Lee High has a very solid Soph. RB with good speed. He could give the Bears trouble, but I will go with the Bears "D" and Green at TB in the I formation. Bears- 20 Lee Co.- 8

If Fritts plays, Corbin will have just enough weapons to beat Danville.

I hope Lynn Camp does not get anyone hurt before distirct play. They have played two 5A teams back to back and next Friday a top 10 class A team (WOW).

Beechwood is still one of the best 2 or 3 teams in the State Class A.

I disagree, if the Bears are going to pound the ball 8 out every 10 plays then Green is the perfect TB. He is one of those backs that get stronger as the game goes on. I would just like to see him get the chance this season to get 20 to 25 carries a game at TB in the "I". I would say if you went back over the past 3 seasons and looked at his stats when he was the feature TB it would show big numbers. This is not to say McMillian or Taylor should not get some carries, but Green should be the workhorse at TB this season.

This can not be true? The Breathitt Co. team I seen last season would have Fugate with 5 out of the first 6 or 7 touches.:confused:

I thought Corbin would win, but pull this one out late in the game. Harlan has a boat load of seniors and a 1,500 yard back returning from last year. Did Corbin control all 4 quarters of this game?

I would still like to see Green get 20 to 25 touches at TB in the I formation without playing LB every down on "D".

Corbin will pull this one out late 28-14. Harlan has a very good Class A team this season. They should be the second best team in the region this year, other than Pikeville.

Whitley will role in this one 42-7. Whitley gave up 40+ last week, too Lex. Cath. Lynn Camp should have a good year this season in Class A, but Whitley seems to be ready to make a deep run in 5A.

I thought Bell Co. beat up on Alcoa in the trenches until Bell Co. got tired. They had so many kids going both ways. I also thought when Bell Co. Bell Co. will be in the Hunt again for a state title.

I seen the Canady kid play in Middle School. He could be a big time back for Knox Central in the future.

I think the Hounds open up with a much improved Harlan Dragon team @ Harlan. This could be a difficult game for the Hounds. This should be the best Dragon team in the past several years. They will be big up front and return two hard running backs in Link and Pennington. Look for the Hounds to pull this one off late due to depth.
