WOW!!!

Ouch. To me this signals a lot of trouble for, obviously, Beechwood, and CovCath as well. Dixie, I heard, looked real good.

While the margin is shocking the fact that Dixie won is hardly a surprise.

Double WOW, not about Dixe winining the game but by how bad Dixie beat Bwood!

Wow is right. Thought Dixie would win, but not this big. Any stats?

The Tigers will be fine. They will probably be 0-3 against the three big schools. I have no clue what type of team Cov Cath has. They will be ready once the playoffs start.

Very nice game for Dixie. They were as good as I expected and then some. Beechwood is going to struggle against teams with size. We saw that in the scrimmages against Boone and Conner and we saw it even more today. Dixie controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball to the extent they really didn't need to pass the ball. Wilson did throw a few nice passes and his stats will look good because of a couple good yards after reception plays. But this game was won up front.

Based on what I have seen the past three weeks in scrimmages and today, Dixie is better than Boone County and better than Conner. They may be the second best team in N. Ky.

WOW is a under statement!

This is a big surprise. There may be hope for some of the Class A teams out in the state.

No need for anyone in Class A to get too excited.

Come on Coach, I value your opinion, but when was the last time Beechwood was beaten by 40 points, by anyone?

In 2006 they lost to covington catholic by 34, other than that I cannot think of the last time they were beat by 20 or more...

And next week Beechwood gets Highlands. Ugly. You may have to go back 20 years or more to find two losses back to back as bad as what Beechwood will be looking at this time next week.

On the positive side, Beechwood is still going to be a force in 1A. There is a lot talent there, it's just young and inexperienced. They may get a third title but it might come with 4 or 5 losses. They just have to be mentally tough enough to handle these losses and maybe an 0-4 start.

It would be interesting to see how many years you would have to go back for Beechwood and NCC to both lose on the same day.
