Is it true that all schools will get money from the tourney even those that are not in the Regional. If so maybe this is why many schools are for the change?

The parking at schools like Clay, Knox, or Harlan Co. would not be like the situation at Bell. The picture of of the arena is nice, but I still think the Harlan Co. gym takes the cake. I guess those Hounds will not get to practice in the arena all year long.

I like having the Region tourney at the individual schools. This would be a good idea if they would not let any teams in the region play or practice in this arena during the regular season.

It would be hard for me to go against the group Bell Co. has coming back next year.

I think TJ Green from Harlan Co. would also be in my top 5 list. He should put up big time numbers with a full season as the Bears number 1 rushing option.

I think Justice should be in the top 10 and Polson from West Jess. should also be on this list. He may not be a D-1 type player, but he is one of the best high school players in the state.

I think both kids are D-1 players, but Jackson would be a great player in any conference.

I would say if Conway is interested, he would be the best choice for the job out of the coaches posted.

Fugate from Breathitt would be number one, then who would be the other four.

Bell Co. has a strong group of players coming back next season. I thought they would have been one of the top 4 teams in the region this season. They should again in my book with the kids they have back be tops in the district. If I had to rate the top 5 in the 13th next season this would be my five. 1. Clay Co. 2. Corbin 3. South L. 4. Knox 5 Bell Co.

I still do not understand why you play teams like Corbin and Knox, but the Dragons will not play the Bears 3 miles up the road. That would draw the biggest crowd for a game in Harlan Co. history. I think it would be great for the town.:confused:

This should be the best team Coach Donahue and his staff has had in the last 10 years. It is not often you get that many seniors on a team in Class A Football in the mountains.

If Ball continues to work, he could be one of the top 2 or 3 lineman in the mountains.

I think he would be great player at the NAIA Division 2 level. Georgetown College in Ky. would be a great place for him. I also heard today that 6'4 two guard Nick Smith has signed or will sign with Georgetown and Mr. Osborne. He is one of those mountain kids that was under the radar across the state. He played at Middlesboro and was a 20/10 type player all year. Does anyone know about Josh Crawford from Corbin and the school he may end up.

I have heard Clay, Knox Central and Bell could be looking to make a change.

I believe they need a hometown boy this time around.

I have two sets of guards in the 13th region in the early 90's that could play with any of these guys. Michael Jones PG, Charles Thomas SG Harlan High School Shannon Hoskins PG, Mark Smith SG Clay Co.

The one Kentucky kid I hope the new coach takes a long look @ is Ricardo Johnson from Holmes. I think he should be the favorite next season for Mr. Basketball. I did not realize how good this kid was on both ends of the court until the Sweet 16. He has great range, handles, and can defend in the SEC.

1. Holmes 2. Scott Co. 3. Shelby Valley 4. Clark Co. 5. Eastern I think Scott Co. will again have the most talent in the state, but I would not go against the Johnson boys and Pittman. They also have a very good player in the Rice kid who would have started for many teams in the state.

How big is the Eastern starting 5. Corbin has good size and they have two kids who can really jump in Crawford and Johnson. It is hard to believe that Eastern has outrebounded Corbin like they have in this game.

This should be the best team they have had in several years. They have a strong senior class coming back next season. They could win the district with Hazard being hit hard by graduation at the skill position.```````````````````````

The big question for me will be the void left by Roberts FB/MLB. He played with great heart on both sides of the ball.

Did the coach that left Estill Co. get another job? If not, he would be a good option for South Laurel maybe bring some of that tough hard nosed ground game to South and put the air attack on hold.
