I figured this one would have several posts. I hope the fans of HC has not jumped off the wagon after the loss to Whitley Co. Good Luck to Coach Larkey and his Bears.

I would rate South a strong 2 behind a talented Clay Co. team.

Whitley- 42 Clay Co- 12

The Bears still have a great Coach, above average "D", and 3 solid TB's that Coach Larkey likes to rotate. How many teams in the mountains can say they have that all on one team? I look for the Bears to control the clock with those 3 backs and play physical on "D". Bears 20 LCC- 16:thumb:

Is the RB for Perry Central a freshman?

You got to give that coaching staff some credit at Estill Co. They lost two very good RB's last season in #26 and #44.

Lee Co. is pretty weak this season up front. Harlan Co. I believe had them down 40-0 until Larkey put the second team in the game. I was not surprised by Harlan Independent getting the win.

Bell Co.-30 Knox- 12

They must have played some very good "D". Did the rain seem to hurt the speed of MC?

I thought Clay would win this game. They have a very talented QB and good RB's.

Big plays killed Harlan Co. in this game. The QB for for Whitley Co. is a solid player. Good Luck next week to both teams.

It should come down to them and West Jess. for a trip to Rupp.

Shelby Valley will be one of the best 5 teams in the state. Shelby Valley has great size and maybe the best PG in the state. If I had one lock for a trip to Rupp next season it would be Shelby Valley. Valley will be that much better than anyone else in the 15th. I still believe Scott and Holmes have to much talent, but if SV gets a good draw they could make some noise in Rupp.

Perry Central may have the best football player in Eastern Ky. I will take PC in a high scoring game.

He is my pick for Mr. Football since the slow start of Fugate.

Clay Co. by 6 Clay Co. and North both have good ground games. The only difference is Clay Co. uses more backs to carry the mail.

I will take Harlan Co. in a low scoring game. The Bears "D" has been very solid this season. WC will be a true test for the Bears early in District play. HC- 14 WC- 12

You took my message wrong freshstart. I believe the Bears would have still won the game. I was told he was a All State type player in his area. This would cause me to believe he would have made some type of impact on the game.
