Great win for the Bears! They are improving every week.

Good win and Congrats to the Black Bears. Myron Pinkston QB/RB did not play last night for Powell Valley. I heard he was a All State RB last season in Virgina Class A Football. Good Luck to the Bears next week in a big district game with Whitley Co.

I would have been nice if Pinkston could have played. I hate for people to say that the reason for the win was because he didn't play. I don't think he would have made a lot of difference. The Black Bear Defense came to play on Friday and Pinkston makes no difference in the their defense.

I totally agree Freshstart! The defense has been awesome and I don't think he would've made a difference either.

You took my message wrong freshstart. I believe the Bears would have still won the game. I was told he was a All State type player in his area. This would cause me to believe he would have made some type of impact on the game.

HC would have still scored 35 points.

No matter how good he is one player can't make up 35 points! How about that passing game we've developed!!!!

Over 100 yards I believe through the air.

You don't think an ALL STATE RB would have made a difference?

He wouldn't have. The TB they used is better and I doubt he had 5 yards rushing.

Nooooo...I don't think an ALL STATE RB would have. They may have scored if he had played, but the Bears would've still won the game. My opinion; I'm entitled to it.

Pinkston would not have made a difference in this one. 33 was better. HC stopped him cold.

And I'm entitled to disagree, that's why this site is here.

Have you ever seen Pinkston play? If you had you would agree with us. I cannot figure out why he is All State.

I don't think the kid was all state. I think he was all district.
