I think that this game could really go either way. Both teams are coming off weeks where they played much larger schools. I think that Harlan's secondary is really going to have to play well to beat this Williamsburg passing attack. However, if Harlan can hold on to the football and make some long drives, this game could be in their favor.

 

Low scoring game: Advantage Harlan

High scoring game: Advantage W-burg

 

I see this being a high scoring game as Harlan gets its first true test through the air.

Harlan will win this game because W-burg will not be able to stop the run. These two teams have produced some good battles since Donahue took over at Harlan. Look for the Burg to not get the ball as much as they would like because of Link and Pennington.

This is a tough game to call. Harlan lost to Corbin 42-16 because of Corbin's speed. Harlan controlled the line of scrimmage most of the time and put together some good drives and the defense played a good game but got tired chasing Corbin around. But still they played hard. Williamsburg lost a tough game against South Laurel 32-26. I haven't seen any stats but I would say that Williamsburg's speed and passing attack kept them in the game, that worries me about this week. I think Harlan will work hard on the pass defense this week and make some adjustments on both sides of the ball and be ready to play another tough game this week. I think Harlan will win a very close one 31-28.

DB's will have to step up. The Burg will definately test them. Since I first looked at the schedule, I thought Harlan would win this one.
