Berea joins the list of schools looking for a new head football coach. Aaron Stepp was 8-13 in two seasons as head coach of the Pirates, including a 7-4 record in 2019 - Berea's first winning season since 2009.

Resigned yesterday at their banquet.

Resignation had nothing to do with success or taking another job.

Sorry to hear of Coach Stepp's medical woes forcing him to step down.

He orchestrated one of the most incredible turnarounds in high school football this past year.

Best of luck to Coach Stepp and a speedy recovery to the Berea Pirates sidelines.

Berea is in a travel-challenged district with Eminence, KCD, and Frankfort. Those are some long bus rides for a team that struggles to field a team year in and year out. Best of luck to someone!
