Brennan Canada Walk-On For Kentucky

Brennan Canada a senior for George Rogers Clark has walked on to the Kentucky basketball team for the 2019-20 season. The 6'7 Forward averaged 15.9 points and 9.7 rebounds as a senior and scored 1,371 points for his career. He was first team all 10th Region this past season. Congrats to Brennan!

Did he have any scholarship offers?

 

According to Ben Roberts' article, he had a "handful of sub-D1 offers" and had made unofficial visits to NKU, WKU, & Marshall. Could have easily gone the D-2 or NAIA route, but when Coach Justus offered, he accepted because it was always a dream.

 

Really happy for the young man. So cool having a pair of 10th Region guys on the roster.
