April 27, 20197 yr Did he have any scholarship offers? Yes, he had some D-1 offers. He chose to walk on and live out his dream. Thrilled for him and his family. Proud GRC fan here.
April 27, 20197 yr Did he have any scholarship offers? According to Ben Roberts' article, he had a "handful of sub-D1 offers" and had made unofficial visits to NKU, WKU, & Marshall. Could have easily gone the D-2 or NAIA route, but when Coach Justus offered, he accepted because it was always a dream. Really happy for the young man. So cool having a pair of 10th Region guys on the roster.
