True...

Gals are stuck with Palmer for a few more years. The organiztion made their bed with this guy, now they will lie in it. Since that is the reality, if by some chance they do want to try and win a few games, they need to start with both lines and work their way out. Last year was a complete aberation. there are not very many football players on the whole roster. I think I heard they just clinched their 18th none winning season in the last 20 years. We all know what the common denominator is. It's not going to change.

I would agree except for Palmer's contract. A #1 QB will demand a big contract. I don't know if the Bengals would be able to have those two salaries for one position.

Even though I am someone who backs Palmer when people act like its all his fault for the Bengals losing. Which I still will argue that because, Palmer has his share of the blame no doubt. However this team is more than a new QB away from being good. This team has to many problems all away around, and since we cant fire the owner. All the coaches need to be gone.

If the Bengals do say have hte first pick, I think they have to take Luck no matter what. I mean I think he is the only one worth the #1 pick in this draft. So it would be take him, or try to trade down, which could be a possibility because a few teams would be wanting Luck as their QB. HOwever if they have to stay with the #1 pick, then take Luck. Trade Palmer, or keep him for a year for him to learn under Palmer. Then try to trade Palmer.

I'm sure many will make a case for Carolina, seeing as how they are now 1-9 and the Beagles did beat them before they decided to give up for the season.

Other "contenders" would seem to be San Francisco, Minnesota, Detroit and Denver; but looking at the remaining schedule its hard to make a case for Cincy going better than 3-13 or 4-12 at best??

Despite the high pre-season expectations, they've managed to morph into the "Bungals" of old; under the direction of the worst GM/Pres. (I hesitate to even use the terms here) in the league.

So will they take their customary seat at the rear of the socialist NFL bus again?? :D

If not the worst "team" certainly the worst management, signing Owens was in a word.....stupidity. I realize that he has a ton of catches this season and all of that but imo lok at the track record. Owens has destroyed practically every team/locker room that he has been in. Having no. 81 and OchoBlowhole on the same team is just asking for problems and the Bengals management is in the hall of fame for being stupid.

"How's that Batman and Robin thing working out now"??

Worst or not, I'd dearly love to see them pull one out of the hat tomorrow.

The defense has been a huge disappointment for the Bengals. They were as physical a team as I watched last season. Where did that go? They added TO, Gresham and Shipley...all good moves, IMO, but in the process, I think they lost their identity as a smash mouth football team. The recipe for success last season was pound the rock and play great defense. And, Carson Palmer was clutch last season leading them down the field for multiple game-winning drives.
