Former Estill County head coach, Jon Bentley has been named the new head coach at East Jessamine 

Solid ball coach.  Glad he is getting another gig after Montgomery Co. Fiasco. 

Honestly I think this a big time grab by East.

Good hire.  It will be interesting to see the mesh between a group of players that have  been “let them play” style to playing in some structure and set offense.

They graduate 4 (2 starters) and Radford has announced he was done on Instagram. Jones has been rumored to be transferring. Last I heard was to Douglass. So he is pretty well starting from scratch if they all indeed not return. He should be able to implement whatever he wants.

Bentley’s style of coaching will not be welcomed in Nicholasville.

I agree. He’s a very good coach and, if given the chance, will do a nice job.

18 district titles in 71 years, none in the last decade, two state trips ever in school history. Maybe Montgomery County's method of "figuring it out" is the wrong approach. Bentley is a very good coach who will do well at East Jessamine.

Maybe give a guy a chance.  But I should be sticking to the topic of this hire.

His style has been 10-15 passes, wants a low scoring game in the 40’s and 50’s, not really sure E Jess is ready for that style of play.

Does he have his staff put together yet?
