All State Baseball Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Former Estill County head coach, Jon Bentley has been named the new head coach at East Jessamine 1
LethalPG Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Solid ball coach. Glad he is getting another gig after Montgomery Co. Fiasco. 1

They graduate 4 (2 starters) and Radford has announced he was done on Instagram. Jones has been rumored to be transferring. Last I heard was to Douglass. So he is pretty well starting from scratch if they all indeed not return. He should be able to implement whatever he wants. 1

nikeman49 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Bentley’s style of coaching will not be welcomed in Nicholasville.

Maybe Montgomery County's method of "figuring it out" is the wrong approach. Bentley is a very good coach who will do well at East Jessamine. 2

But I should be sticking to the topic of this hire.

His style has been 10-15 passes, wants a low scoring game in the 40’s and 50’s, not really sure E Jess is ready for that style of play. 1 1
