Under and over achievments

Recommended Posts

Yes. But you have to remember, Henry County hasn't had a significant winning season in many years DESPITE having a weak schedule. If the definition of "over-achiever" is doing what wasn't expected of you, then Henry County fits this description.

I guess you could look at it two different ways. One, being that they are over-achieving this year. Or two, that maybe they were under-achieving in previous years! :idunno:

Region 14. Perry County Central. While the Commodores' expectations were high, they were 14-19 last year. The only 2009 loss for PCC was on the road at Hazard, and they currently stand 13-3 (6-1); with nice wins over Clay County, Knott County Central and Letcher County Central.

Region 16. Rose Hill. While West Carter and Menifee County, among others, have stepped up this season, did anyone REALLY see a 12-1 run coming from the Royals after their 0-4 start? Anyone? Wins at Ashland and the comeback over Bath County in the Regional All-A give the nod to the Hill.

IMO - It takes more than just a better record to "over achieve".

16th - Rose Hill. Those frosh must be awful good. For that team to come together after losing Euton and Jackson and their first 4 games is impressive.

Although they did lose the high powered offense in Euton and Jackson they also lost their center in Mike Davis, who is doing really well this year at Grant, and also lost their best three point shooter in Barber and graduated their point guard. This team has done wonders and will be a force in the years to come, congrats to the young Royals.
