RondoRules
I just got a new laptop with Vista and it is awful. It seriously takes like 5 minutes to load each web page. Are there any ways to fix this and make it faster or is Vista just naturally like this?

Clyde
I have Vista on my home PC and I don't have any issues with speed. How much memory do you have?

I'm not sure if I am looking at the right thing, but it says I am using 32 GB out of 220 GB.
Wireman
I order computers with Vista all the time and the first thing I do is delete the partition, create a new one, format it and install Windows XP instead :thumb:

Try clicking on "control panel" then "system" and see how much RAM you have.

Is that hard to do?

RondoRules
My friend is saying this isn't Vista's fault so maybe I have jumped the gun. He says load time isn't affected by Vista.
Wireman
A Gateway something or other. You would have a difficult time downgrading it then. If it were Dell, you could do it very easy.
rockmom
I have no problems at all with Vista. I actually prefer it over XP, at this point.
RondoRules
Ok at this point I think it is something else other than Vista, just not sure what it is that makes my Internet so slow. And I use Firefox.
