Ok at this point I think it is something else other than Vista, just not sure what it is that makes my Internet so slow. And I use Firefox.

 

Try some free programs such as CleanUp, AdAware, and Spybot.

My daughter got a Toshiba for Christmas and it has Vista and it is 3gb and 250 hard drive and it fast. Must the the pc.

It might be the amount of RAM you have or the internet connection.

Everyone seams to have problems with Vista but since last summer I have 3 new computers, all with Vista and I have not had a single problem with it. I'm not sure what's wrong with it to be honest.

That is blasphemy. IMO, there is nothing better about Vista. It's not as bad as some make it out to be, but I can't believe someone would prefer it.

It's not terribly hard to do, but it is a time consuming process. It's too bad it didn't come with XP as you could then dual boot it with Vista very easily. That's what I've done with my work PC.

Maybe for what I do with my laptop, Vista works better for me than XP... :confused: It's a longshot....but I may be entitled to my own opinion. :lol:

And like I said, IMO (in my opinion) there is nothing better about Vista. I'm always surprised (= disbelief) that someone prefers it. But certainly you are entitled to your opinion.

Yep...it's much better. I prefer Leopard over either of them though.

Also, what does Vista Ultimate offer over the other versions and do you think it is worth the extra coin?
