Yea thats true. They panicked pretty quickly once they got down. They seemed to play with the mindset that they knew they were down and they had to get it all back at once. They would have played much better down the stretch if they would have kept their poise and played their game.

Ha I know, but the thing was they were only down about 8 with maybe 3:40 or so left, which is not the time to be jacking up threes. They could have mounted a UK style comeback.:lol:

They just kept giving up big plays off of dumb turnovers and terrible shots. Highlands 3-2 zone seemed to give Cov Cath a lot of trouble, so they just kept trying to shoot over it, which did not work well at all.

Highlands is the better team, but it isnt very difficult to be better than this Colonels team. That being said, Highlands is not that good, and I dont see them or anyone else touching Holmes in the Region.

:thumb:I do know what you mean. Maschinot has a very good eye for the open man and can usually get it there, sometimes into tight spaces. Although he did struggle a little tonight with telegraphing his perimeter passes. He will only get better. Once he grows some more and gets bigger and stronger, he will be a very good point guard for Cov Cath.:walk:

Jeramie hides the ball very well. It would take a few AB's to get used to his quickness to the plate, the deceiving speed, and the solid placement.

Yes. But keep in mind when Jeramie Connor wasn't pitching against CovCath I believe CovCath beat them twice by double digits. Other than Connor I don't think the rest of the squad can pull together and get a win if he isn't on.

Besides EJ being a great player, I'm going to have to say I disagree with a top 10 team.

While I agree Hensley is a great coach, I don't know how any coach in the state could screw up with the talent he has on his squad.

Always inflated. Let's keep in mind Jordan Counts for CCH is listen at 6"3. He is maybe 6"1. I always subtract an inch or two when looking at rosters.

Not sure but I attended the Cooper / Cov Cath match yesterday. (Didn't stay for the whole thing) but everyone was talking about how Cooper's Josh Spencer bowled a 288 this week. 288! That's insane.

5 for adults at Covington Catholic and 3 for students. Lesser charge for students is a little more incentive to come to the game. I don't think a fourth, maybe more, of the students at Cov Cath would come if it were raised to $5 to get in to see a game.

I promise you Shover will not be playing until after Christmas, AT LEAST. Do not get your hopes up.

Not sure but I would guess they do if they give out rowing scholarships :lol:. The high this year I believe is 236 in the 9th region. Very solid.
