oldrambler
I got the idea from a post on another thread on this. What are everyones ideas of your respective regions all time team. I know that all will have different entries if for no other reason just bc of the time periods and not being able to know or remember some that were before or know all about ones after your time. Maybe we could get a good thread going on this. I will be working on my all time 16th region team and post later. Lets hear everyones region and your all time team picks. (it is o.k. not to limit this to a starting 5, maybe name an entire team) .

Interesting opinion. I would disagree. Who is Bill Nagel? If we're basing this solely on how they did in high school, both Doug Schoemer and Derek Smith have to go in front of JD IMO. No Bell County boys, but a couple of Lone Jack boys. The only player I can think of from Bell who would be mentioned is Larry Pursiful. I never seen him play, but he did play for UK and had a pretty good college career. Rojas, have you seen him play? Was he good enough to be on the list? cshs81
What about Troy McKinley, Dave Dixon from the '81 SK team. Andy Burns from the '81 Walton-Verona team?? All 3 were strong playes. Troy would certainly deserve consideration.
Springsteen#1
16th Region Bobby Trimble-PG//Raceland Jeff Hall-SG//Fairview Jeff Tipton-C//Ashland Steve Scaggs-SF//Greenup Co. Don Rigsby-PF//Fairview These are players I have seen personally, I am sure there were better players such as Larry Conley etc; but I never saw him play to compare him to anyone

I was going between Trimble and Ron Duncan at a guard slot from Raceland. Bob Trimble probably should have been on my list, he is deserving (just didn't want to sound like too big of a "homer") in naming an all star/alltime team with teams other than Raceland involved. rojas4
I never seen Pursiful play. I am far far too young. Who would you take off my list to add Pursiful?

Don Rigsby-PF//Fairview These are players I have seen personally, I am sure there were better players such as Larry Conley etc; but I never saw him play to compare him to anyone All these are great players but I would think that Frank Lee or Marty Thomas would have to have a roster spot. Especialy Frank who was a Mr. Basketball finalist. He is the most explosive player that has come through the 16th region I have seen. Plus he had a great supporting cast or could have averaged 35+ every night if he had to.
