HammerTime
No team is going to give that up IMO.... Maybe so but thats what I personally would be happy with getting anything less than lost that is a bad trade.
HammerTime
Why is this a huge void? He hits a lot of homeruns, but he doesn't drive in runs. If you are going to pay money for a supposed #4 hitter, he better drive in runs at crucial times. He hits fifth now. He is a horrible hitter, period. He has a good eye, but his swing is too long and over the last three years he has done nothing to close it down. He's a career .246 hitter. He is what he is and he isn't worth the amount that he is getting. I've never been a fan of Dunn, I've always found him lazy. The numbers don't lie he produces runs in a lot of ways. UKMustangFan
The numbers don't lie he produces runs in a lot of ways. I disagree.....There are plenty of guys that produce more total runs (Runs scored+RBIs) than Dunn....

Mack The Knife
Adam Dunn is a below average baseball player. Period.
mexitucky
The numbers don't lie he produces runs in a lot of ways. Show it. What is Dunn batting with runners in scoring position??? How do you hit 40+ home runs and drive in less than 100 runs??? You're telling me that he is who you want up when your team is down by 1 late in the game with a runner on second and two outs??? Heck no. He was great at the beginning of the year when he went to opposite field. Now he's back to his pattern of trying to pull everything and not shortening his stroke with two strikes. That and he's a horrible fielder.

HammerTime
Just runs scored plus RBIs? Runs scored + RBI's - HR= Run production.
HammerTime
Adam Dunn is a below average baseball player. Period. And that is completely false. Period.
UKMustangFan
Will you make a list of the top 10 or so that you think? Not the top 10, but 10 that were better....(Dunn comes in at 191) 1. Nick Swisher (201) 2. Alfonso Soriano (214) 3. Derrick Jeter (215) 4. Miguel Tejada (199) 5. Chase Utley (233) 6. Michael Young (196) 7. Troy Glaus (209) 8. Michael Cuddyer (211) 9. Jason Bay (210) 10. Veron Wells (197) If you want me to go on I can...

UKMustangFan
Runs scored + RBI's - HR= Run production. If that's the case, Dunn probably falls even lower....His total comes out to 149....
HammerTime
If that's the case, Dunn probably falls even lower....His total comes out to 149.... Well then adjust their totals.
mexitucky
Runs scored + RBI's - HR= Run production. Why do you subtract HRs? That produces a run. 1. A-Rod 2. Pujols 3. Ortiz 4. Manny 5. Sheffield 6. Tejada 7. Miguel Cabrera 8. Vlad Guerrero 9. Chase Uttley 10. Andrew Jones To make a diverse list. Dunn is a home run hitter and that is it.
