Sullivan applying and not getting the Conner job may have something to it that hasn't been really mentioned.  They hired Nate Browning, who was already a teacher at Conner Middle if I'm correct.  Which means the principal didn't have to find a teaching position for him.  I'm not sure what Sullivan teaches but maybe there wasn't a position open and just hiring Browning was easier.

Maybe the Coach and Principal are trying marriage counseling first?

In all honesty if I am the Super of the district, I call them both in and see if there is any room for remediation and common ground.

Best friend I ever had was a psychologist. He often said that marriage counseling was really divorce counseling. 

Isn't it almost too late in the year now for Cooper to part ways with Sully? Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the Varsity/JV summer league start in June? Which is rapidly approaching. The run into the Sweet 16 that was pushed out longer than normal had to of obviously pushed the firing process out. Maybe the principal wasn't expecting that type of post season run and thought he would have relieved Sully of his coaching duties by the time the 9th region tournament was over or shortly after it. Now with the summer league not far away, probably no current coach at the school that wants to take over for Sully due to respect for him, isn't Cooper playing with fire here in regards to their programs future? Cooper should be an attractive job why is there nothing going on here? Do they have a plan in place and are just waiting for their school year to be over or their next coaches school year to be over to execute the plan? I see Sully being their coach next year.

Call the principal. He can probably fill you in on what has been happening. I would think he might be the only person who knows.

Someone else has to know what's going on here besides the principal and they need to let the cat out the bag.

I have heard May 15 also and that one coaching vacancy will be filled and another vacated.

The longer the school takes the worse it looks on them.

Are we trying to beat around the bush that Coach Sullivan is now going to be the Coach at St Henry?
