That is not true. As he was still there taking pictures of the players and team after the game.

A principal should be fired because he left the basketball game early? BTW, it was pretty well established here that he stayed and took pictures from the sideline.

He was there. I saw him behind the scorers table after the game taking pictures/video of the trophy presentations.

He was there.  He stayed in the walkway between the stands and the scorer's table/benches.  He was taking pics and/or recording the trophy ceremony on his cell phone.  He just never stepped on the floor to congratulate anyone prior to the cutting of the nets as I left at that point.  As mentioned probably a good idea considering the circumstances, but he was definitely there and looked very happy about the win.

In the first round, he was introduced on the court to present an award, and he was loudly booed.

Are all of Cooper's players over the past few years residing in Cooper's district?

If there are any players who didn't live in district, wouldn't the Principal and maybe Boone County School Board have to approve them into Cooper?

I don't know about hoops but with football there are players that live in Boone County's district that attend Cooper.

While Bryson Warner was head football coach at Boone County there were a handful of kids who lived in the Cooper and Conner district that played football at Boone. I'm not sure what any of the situations were there with the players - if they had parents who managed to find faculty/staff positions at the schools to allow the to move around, or if the school district and schools have backed down a little bit from enforcing their districting policies in more recent years - but there definitely seem to be more players who are showing up on rosters outside of their home districts within Boone County in recent years.

In the past you could always move around in Boone County if you had a decent reason, knew someone in power, had a parent working in the system, or you were afforded special treatment.  I too wonder if the district has backed down a little bit on switching schools.  I also wonder if the alleged "culture issue" revolved around kids switching schools within the district or they were kids from outside of Boone County.

I thought BCSD had open enrollment, but you may have to find your own ride to school if you chose to attend a high school outside your district. I could be wrong though. 

UPDATE: it looks like Cooper was forced to remove the “Championship Culture” slogan from the shirts in the approved design.
