Would the "culture" excuse be a thing if Cooper had not lost two years in a row in the finals?

I have no affiliation with Cooper and I love Sully. The guy is a fierce competitor and just an overall great person. 

 

My boy plays a fair amount of baseball against his younger boy. So I don't know him on the court. I hope the Jags go on a run!

I don't think so.  I think one has to wonder what type of "culture" the principal is looking for?  

I think those that know Sully whether it be 30 years or 30 minutes can figure out what type of guy & culture he's bringing to the table.

Boy oh boy are things going to get interesting at Cooper...

I think we'll all be surprised how quickly school districts make these kinds of situations disappear. It's a glaring light for now, but a week after the season is over, no one will think about it twice.

Talk about instant karma. However, if they agreed to get rid of him before the season was even close to over then they should stick to their guns. They had to of known that their shot at a regional title was a legitimate one, and no matter the outcome their decision was made. 

At this point, I don't think it matters if Cooper wins state. It seems the principal has made his decision and no amount of winning, media coverage, or petitions will change his mind. Now, I am sure there are a lot of things that the general public didn't see that has led to this point. I am not saying that Sully should be let go, but it definitely seems like this goes beyond the wins and losses.

It has zero to do with wins and loses. Principal has about as much interest in athletics as I do in living at the North Pole.

We did keep an eye on the principal after the game.  He stayed off the court away from the team taking pictures on his phone.  We didn't see him walk onto the court to congratulate anyone as it looked like he was keeping his distance.  We left when they were getting ready to cut down the nets, so not sure if he came onto the floor after that.

I don't feel like this is that odd of a situation. Often, I see principals take the team pictures for social media and then let the team and coaches have their time before congratulating them as they exit the field/court. 

I have no idea if that congrats happened or no,t though.

I don't think his congratulations would be welcome and I'd imagine he knows that, based on what I've seen over at NKU during this tourney.

If it has to do with the principle not being interested in sports then what about the head FC and girls BB coach. Both are pretty successful as well.
