Shouldn't be too long until we hear something from St. Henry then, I'd assume. Interested to see if he teaches there as well. Has to be a significant pay cut unless the school has a REAL NICE coaching stipend.

He was not removed from teaching position at Cooper.

Correct, but a lot of schools want head coaches in the building. Plus, why would Sully want to remain at Cooper?

He could go almost anywhere to teach as long as there is an open teaching position, and depending on where he went, he could probably make more money.

He could also transfer within the district into any opening in his field.  That being said, he may not want to leave his Cooper teaching position being well established and basically untouchable in that position as far as the principal is concerned.  Again this is pure speculation and may be somewhat unfair to do but just my thoughts.  Aa far as more money teaching, Boone would be one of the higher paying districts in the area as far as teacher's salaries.

Has he been officially let go, or has the principal finally submitted the recommendation for non-renewal? I believe I recall someone stating this is the process. If this is the case, this would be the point in which the Superintendent could mediate. This is all assumption, as I do not know the official process.

Touche, he is probably within 5 or years of being done, it would be a terrible decision to start teaching at a private school.

Northern KY coaches seem to pull the "teaching at public/coaching at private" move off more frequently than rest of state.  Coach Code comes to mind when he was coaching at Bishop Brossart for years, while teaching at Highlands. 

It's also my understanding that private is slightly less pay than public.  Mainly due to the Federal requirements and all the paperwork you have to do.  I could be wrong but that was at least what I have been told in the past.

Answer to this question is yes he has been non-renewed.  Principal was not in attendance at said meeting.
