16thBBall Fan
Final congrats to Trinity on the state title. Tough loss for the 2nd straight year for Scott Co. These kids had great careers just could not get that last game. This is Scott County's 3rd loss in the state championship in the last 6 years. Randy Parker
Great fourth quarter for Trinity. Congrats to the Rocks! Heck of a ball team. :thumb:
16thBBall Fan
Coach Billy Hicks maybe 14-0 in the first round of the state tournament but his finals record is not so good. I know that is 0-3 in the last 6 years. I'd say a lot of programs would like to have those opportunities but that's not very good.
The Double Deuce
Really happy for Trinity, congrats to the Rocks on finishing this off! Also, another great season and post-season run for the Cards.
mcpapa
Congrats to Trinity! Based just off the results and not the eye test, I'm thinking that maybe Campbell County was the second-best team in the whole shebang.

DragonFire
Anyone have an idea of when the last time (if ever) a team has lost in consecutive finals?
DevilMayCare
Congratulations to the Rocks. Trinity owned the fourth quarter, outscoring Scott County 21-7. Both teams were jackin’ up three balls during a crucial stretch in the final frame. Trinity's were falling, Scott County's weren't. There was your separation. 16thBBall Fan
In past 22 years Scott Co. is 2-5 in State Championship games. That is pretty impressive to have played in 7 title games in 22 years.

DevilMayCare
Anyone have an idea of when the last time (if ever) a team has lost in consecutive finals? Dunbar lost in the finals in 1993 and 1994.
ACfan4
Scott County lacked an elite wing scorer I think and the last 2 years both teams had one with CJ Frederick and David Johnson.
