camelman
First time Paris has beaten Mason Co since 1991. Lots of "first in a long time" happening for the Hounds this season. Congrats Paris! Also, would 1991 be the period when Alvin Sims (future UofL guard) was the star at Paris?
sumoroyal
Mason was out classed and out hustled tonight in a game that was really not this close. Mason missed 15 lay ups before our players refuse to use the back board on a layup. I guess finger roll and missing is better than using the old fashioned back board. They need to llearn what the square is for.

Also, would 1991 be the period when Alvin Sims (future UofL guard) was the star at Paris? That would be correct!
LoganDMC
Was getting ready to post stats but @sumoroyal beat me to it. If Mason County wants to do anything in Region, they need to get the game rolling. Mason faces Rowan at home on Friday, then Boyd County on Saturday and then Montgomery County next Tuesday. Paris out played the Royals tonight and came off the better team. Hats off to their program for ending the 26 year drought.

jozey72
Hounds frustrated Dunaway...12pts...1 fg...even though Mason is down it's a streak snapper...Hounds are playing well goin into the All A hopefully we have some 10th region fans to come cheer on a team that will play hard and be scrappy. LoganDMC
I figure this win for the hounds will fuel the bus to Frankfort, hopefully they will turn it up for the 10th Region.

Great article in Herald this morning about All A with Hounds dominating the story. Good pub about a program on the upswing.
Oldercoach
an absolute man-child. one of the best players this region has seen in the past 25-30 years. Not many of you old enough to remember another Hounds man-child, Bill Gaines from the early/mid 70's. Visualize a cross between Shaq and Barkley that could knock it down from 3 pt range...(whoops, so long ago there weren't even 3's).
maysvilleky
Good news for Mason is that Kumler was back and it looks like Perkins may be close.
