jericho
Would like to think its not actually true and that Mexico would allow our military to go in there and wipe them out and that our military Intel would already know this. I hope this doesn't just prove how poorly our borders are protected. maysvilleky
Doesn't surprise me in the least. Our government leaders have let the U.S. citizens down IMO.

ISIS Camp a Few Miles from Texas, Mexican Authorities Confirm - Judicial Watch I dunno, I think it's more a reflection on Mexico's borders than ours. This is on Mexico, not us. And it should be up to Mexico to care of the issue, unless they specifically ask for our help.

theguru
So Mexico holds no responsibility? I want to hit that softball out of the park! In short, Mexico is a hot mess, they don't take responsibility for anything.
MayfieldFan
Pretty sure if you take a bingo spinner and put pieces of paper in there with the words "Mexico" "Isis" "border" "Obama" "Clinton" "Rapist" and "Liberal", @mountain ref will post it as a headline every time. Getslow
God in Heaven, BGP, get a hold of yourselves. You think if there was an ISIS camp in Mexico, everyone would just be cool with it? Mexico isn't doing anything, the U.S. isn't doing anything... we're just letting them hang out. If there is one, there certainly aren't Mexican military officers running around only telling people about it off the record. That story had no quotes from anyone and no verifiable facts. You know why? IT'S. NOT. REAL.

mcpapa
The story is bogus. Carry on. Latest ‘ISIS Camp in Mexico’ Story is Completely FAKE From the article: Based on the over-the-top sensationalism and the lack of any substance in the story, most intelligent Americans might write it off as just another fake ‘ISIS in Mexico’ story, but for cash-obsessed media businesses, a wild story like this, whether true or not, will automatically generate tens of thousands of dollars in online ad revenues overnight. Beyond the obvious financial gains however, the real function of a planted story like this is political. By invoking the ISIS threat, it energizes the far right-wing in America which further polarizes the political spectrum. Here we can see how a planted news story is custom designed to advance a fear-based agenda, where media outlets work hand-in-glove with the US government’s military establishment to secure more funding and foreign intervention in the Middle East, as well as more funding for the Department of Homeland Security in the US.
