jericho
Not sure where this would go best. If a mod wants to change locations please do so. Awesome article. Could go in every football category I guess. Where every active NFL player went to high school - MaxPreps News

jericho
Ky has some kids in the pros who didnt even play college ball for a KY college. Amazing we let kids like that get away from UK
gchs_uk9
Probably a good item to show over-zealous parents who insist that their son will play in the NFL!
Harry Doyle
Pretty cool. I didn't know that there is a current pro from my old high school in Maryland. Awesome read. Thanks, ref. Everybody remember, we're a "basketball state", though.

HT721
Would you rather the KY schools try to win, or simply have in-state kids? One would think getting kids who made the pros would help your team.

So they should pass on guys like Cobb, Woodyard, Dumerville, etc. for in-state guys? You try to get the best players available for your scheme regardless of where they're from. Harry Doyle
Probably a good item to show over-zealous parents who insist that their son will play in the NFL! Or, show it to the over-zealous parents who think their son is going to play basketball in college, let a lone make it to the NBA. I know more of these parents than any... A good coach can adjust his "scheme" based on what he has. All those you named are great players, but would it have hurt to have a few more great ones? ThrillVille Cardinal51
That's pretty cool to see. It doesn't really surprise me much though. Texas, Florida, California, Georgia and Ohio all play phenomenal high school football.

I'm saying it's unrealistic to think schools are going to keep all the in-state talent home.
