Original Rookie
Per Pitino. Do we believe him?
Getslow
I never know what to believe. He might play tonight against FIU. He might not play until halfway though January.
02Ram54
He has to be straight with the player injury stuff every once in a while or people will ignore it completely. He was, if anything, overly optimistic on the return of Blackshear last year.
Randy Parker
I most certainly believe he will play.

LRCW
I believe him. Louisville doesn't need him to beat Kentucky. Why bring him back early?
4chs
I believe him. Louisville doesn't need him to beat Kentucky. Why bring him back early? To make sure they beat UK...
bugatti
I believe him. Louisville doesn't need him to beat Kentucky. Why bring him back early? No doubt. However coaches are weird and tend to over think situations. He could convince himself he needs Dieng to win and end up disrupting the flow of his own team. The game can get ugly whether Dieng suits up or not.
ThrillVille Cardinal51
I would feel a lot more comfortable with Dieng playing. It's a tough situation because we all want to beat UK so bad, but we don't want to risk further injury and setbacks to one of our key players. I say leave it up to Gorgui, he seems to be a pretty level headed dude. BTW, did anyone else feel their heart skip a couple beats when Russ turned his ankle saturday? Mine did. Original Rookie
Louisville can certainly beat UK without him, but the chance of a UK upset is absolutely higher if he doesn't suit up.
The Professor
Sometimes playing an injured player can hurt more than help. I believe that's what happened to UK against Marquette in the 2003 NCAA Sweet 16 when they tried to play Bogans . He limped through the game and was ineffective. Also, I suppose Marqutte's Wade didn't help UK's effort either, lol.
