I'm saying no mountain lions, yeti, or sharks in or around lake Cumberland.I know some guys that would fight you over this, they whole heartedly believe there are Squatches around the Lake...especially around the Keno area...I think they are nuts but the will just about fight over this point. spindoc
I know of a guy fondly known as Drunk Dave at Grider Hill dock who sometimes squalls in the wee hours of the morning that would sound very Yeti-like.

Wireman
Wow. Guess I'll stay in Green River Lake and Herrington Lake though I'm surprised Herrington hasn't had a shark attack or two. Doesn't Herrington have the "Herrington Lake Monster"? Tales still surface of creature in Herrington - Central Kentucky News
PurplePride92
Doesn't Herrington have the "Herrington Lake Monster"? Tales still surface of creature in Herrington - Central Kentucky News I've heard stories of fish with teeth in Herrington but people call them Gar. I've never had any issues at Herrington. I prefer Green River Lake though. Much cleaner. Although Herrington has been cleaner this year.

Colonels_Wear_Blue
Yep, same animal. Very widespread range and quite an array of names throughout their range. My understanding is that they are the same species, with some subspecies qualities. They can all inter-breed, but there are some variances in size, etc. - much like the tiger.
