Colonels_Wear_Blue
Final in Des Moines. Minnesota with great defense, and lights out 3-point shooting - making 11 this afternoon, compared to a season long average of 5 per game. TheDeuce
GREAT first season under Coach Mack. The future is bright and I’m excited about basketball again.

Like @JDEaston said in the game thread, Coach Mack has the Cards ahead of schedule.
DragonFire
I picked Minnesota in 1 of the 7 brackets I submitted on ESPN. So this is off to a great start.
Getslow
Well on the plus side, I have about four hours of uninterrupted office time the rest of this afternoon...
Getslow
I completely agree. Like @JDEaston said in the game thread, Coach Mack has the Cards ahead of schedule. I'm relatively satisfied... but I can't say I'm happy with how this season went. Everything that happened after Feb. 1 was pretty tough to watch. John Anthony
Bad loss, no other way to slice it. Mack is 10x the coach and lost to little Ricky who’s a shell of his daddy as a coach.

Everything that happened after Feb. 1 was pretty tough to watch. I hear ya. But I think once we get to the point that Mack has another year or two of kids HE has recruited into HIS program, things like putting the game away in the second half are going to be a non-issue. Getslow
Pretty brutal schedule they had for the second half of ACC play. It went deeper than that. Almost blew it at home against Clemson. Coughed up leads against those good teams. Non-competitive against Syracuse. Looked mostly harmless against a pretty poor Boston College team in late February. This team just didn't have the spark. That's fine. But it wasn't easy to sit down and watch.
DanvilleFan
Louisville wasn't the same after they lost that lead against Duke. Their press was horrible today.
Pura Vida
Welp, that was quick, lol. Totally agree that there were both bright & dark moments this season. But I too am excited to see what the future holds for the Chris Mack era. Hopefully the Cards get some much-needed help in the future. Go Cards! And moving onwards to tomorrow..... Go Norse! Voice of Reason
Disappointing. When a team shoots over their norm on 3 pointers, it makes it tough. It was a good first year for Mack. Louisville will be fun to watch under Mack.
nkypete
By picking Minnesota, I am in first place in the company pool (for probably 30 minutes or so).
