Ugh, I can't vote.

After this is JTown, I think T faces X 1-5.

I hope I'm wrong, but something is off course on Shelbyville Rd.

Not off course, it’s just that the road is a little longer than we are used to. Maybe it isn’t that the road is longer. Maybe we just aren’t quite as far down the road as we usually are at this point in the season. Coach Lampley said that every team had to build its own road to the championship. Trinity has the finest road builders anywhere. I trust them to get it right.

It was a young team to start with that has been gutted by injuries. I was told we started 6 sophs on defense against Male. I haven't given up on them.

Naperville Central's two losses were to Lincoln-Way East and Hinsdale Central

LWE is the #1 team in Illinois and ranked #41 in America by Maxpreps. They won 38-19. LWE is the defending Class 8A Champions

Hinsdale won by 1 point, they are the #24 team in Ilinois

Everything suggests Trinity should win this one at home, but it should be tough

Which is why I am more concerned with the end result than the immediate product.

Yes. Some seem to think the sky is falling now. I'm not too worried about it. As far as end result, well, it could go either way. I don't like to see the Rocks lose but I don't expect to win every game every year either. I really like this team and feel they will see their share of success. Might be this year, might be further down the road.

Truth be told - WE - T fans are spoiled.

We have been blessed with "riches" far and above any other program - IMVHO.

And we have achieved more than others.

I am not saying it was not hard - earned

We have been very fortunate in the past to escape major injuries, etc.

Adversity is not something we usually encounter.

This year is different.

It's football - and it's kids playing a game to the best of their ability.

Let's see how the rest of the season unfolds.
