mexitucky
Coach Eddie Eviston, in 6 years as a high school head coach, has 3 titles at 2 different schools. How many other coaches have won titles at multiple schools? I know of Dudley Hilton at Bell Co and Bourbon Co. Tom Duffy at Danville and Highlands. Jackie Ed
Dudley Hilton had Mr everything at RB in 1997 even though they couldn’t beat the Breds on senior night. Shoot out

I think Eddie Eviston has been a high school head coach for 8 years and not 6 as his championships at NCC were in 2010 and 2012. Still quite impressive. He is 3-0 as head coach in State Title games. gchs_uk9
Not sure on this one, so just asking the question did Owen Hauck win a title at Highlands and Boone Co.? Boone County has never won a state title. They've lost four times in the championship game.

jlow
Pat Gates at Crittenden County and Caldwell County. I attended both games. Late 80's vs Paintsville? (Defensive battle) and '98 vs Danville (QB that year was a stud)
jlow
Joe Jaggers at Trigg County and Ft. Knox. Do you think maybe there was some 3 back offense in said championships? That last title run Ft Knox was loaded to bear (5 elite skill guys on field at all times) I think they beat Somerset that year '88 ?
gchs_uk9
Pat Gates at Crittenden County... I attended both games. Late 80's vs Paintsville? (Defensive battle) 1985, I believe. Walter Brugh of Paintsville was another long-time successful coach that never won a state championship. I think the loss to Crittenden County was the farthest they ever advanced.
