Voice of Reason
Thank you to the Golden State Warriors. They have ended any thought that people might have that the NBA is fixed. Now, of course you can never convince some people. #believewhatyouwanttobelieve But, if the NBA were fixed there is absolutely zero chance "they" would allow the highly popular Warriors to sweep four straight series. They certainly would not have allowed the Warriors to win the finals in 5 games with ratings soaring on each game. The proof is there. So the next time someone tries to tell you the NBA is fixed, just look at them and say ... 16-1.

SnottieDrippen
Donaghy: The NBA Does Program The Refs To Put Teams At An Advantage I'm not saying he's lying, but his take on referees means about as much to me as Canseco's on baseball.

Sportslover32
People who think the NBA are rigged don't keep up with it at all. If the NBA was rigged they would make sure the Lakers aren't trash. People who think the NBA is rigged probably thinks there is no defense either.
SnottieDrippen
His credibility is probably lost but what if he's telling the truth? I don't know really. More often than not the best team wins and that's good enough for me.
oldgrappler
Sadly, the Warriors outplayed the Cavs in this series. They had a let down in one game but picked it back up the next game. I wish there was some excuse for why my Cavs lost, but there isn't. The better team won. No fix.

But didn't it come out that Canseco was pretty much spot on with what he was saying?

"Mr. Clean" doesn't always know what's going on, on the down low. It takes a shady guy to reveal it.

Agreed, but I'm not going to take his word as truth until someone who didn't help Kobe get to the Finals brings it up.
sweet16
If the NBA was rigged then the major markets would be towards the top of the league. Lakers, Knicks, Bulls, etc
Wireman
It's not always about wins and losses. It's just about the money. This is the kind of thing that makes people suspicious. JR Smith'''s seemingly meaningless shot in the closing seconds of Game 5 turned out to be worth millions

JR Smith'''s seemingly meaningless shot in the closing seconds of Game 5 turned out to be worth millions That adds 0 to the argument that the NBA is rigged. Unless your opinion is that the owners, refs, management, and players are all on the same page.
