June 14, 20179 yr That adds 0 to the argument that the NBA is rigged. Unless your opinion is that the owners, refs, management, and players are all on the same page. I'm not changing my opinion. It doesn't take everyone being in on a big scandal. It only takes one player, one coach, one ref, one owner.
June 14, 20179 yr JR Smith has been taking dumb shots his whole career not a good example. If you took to court evidence of it being rigged vs not it wouldn't even be a case.
June 14, 20179 yr It's not always about wins and losses. It's just about the money. This is the kind of thing that makes people suspicious. JR Smith'''s seemingly meaningless shot in the closing seconds of Game 5 turned out to be worth millions That's a weak arguement that the game was fixed. If he misses the shot was it fixed the other way? So no matter happens on that shot the game is fixed. It just shows that vegas is pretty good on lines.

I'm not naive enough to believe that everything in the basketball world is on the up and up. I've seen some extremely dirty stuff right here in our own little world.

You brought up the shot that he hit. So if he misses or let's them time run out is the game still fixed?
