Anyone have any good, motivational Lenten thoughts or suggestions or websites…..I’m not feeling “into” it yet - lol.

Still trying to decide what to give up this year.

I'm giving up chocolate. I always say I will, but this time it's for real.

Apparently I am giving up electric for lent, at least the first few days anyway.

Carbonated Beverages gone for me. It'll be water, water, water and an occasional Iced Tea.

I'm trying that as well. If I don't snack I can lose weight. The snacks is what kills me.

A prayer of St. Ephraem of Syria, a fourth-century scholar and Doctor of the Church, that always seemed perfect for this season:

"O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despondency, lust of power, and idle talk;
