Hotels and events around October 1st in Cincinnati.

USF plays at UC on October 1st. USF fans are asking for good places to stay and things to in the Cincinnati Metro Area around that weekend. We always stay with family up in Hamilton and spend the week around the game visiting family and friends, so I'm not much help. I am trying to get Bulls fans to meet us when we do our little event at the Hofbrau, but I've trying to do that for the last 9 years and that hasn't happened, yet.

Wow. I forgot how long we've been doing this. 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, and now 2016.

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

The Reds are playing the Cubs at GABP that weekend for the last series of the season. Fireworks on Friday night, 9/30.

The Westin is nice.

A new Hampton Inn in Newport, KY near the Ohio River should be ready by then. You have the Banks in Cincinnati near GABP. You have a lot to do in Newport such as the Aquarium.

There's also a chance that will be Oktoberfest in Newport that weekend. It's either that weekend or the weekend before.
