Heard yesterday Steve Barker is out at Caverna after 2 seasons. Not sure if this was by his choice or not. This could be a very attractive job as Caverna went 17-11 last season and return 4 of their top 6 players led by Jaylin Crane at point guard who has a D1 offer. Craine and 2 other starters have 2 years left as well.

    My guess would be he was forced out, as you stated a lot of talent returning from a very good team.

    Yes doesn't make much sense to me tbh went 19-10 and 17-11 last 2 seasons. Did not make region but that district has been really competitive lately and losing to Larue last year in district shouldn't be seen as disappointing to me.

    How many other players in their district have division one offers? I would venture to say zero, there you have the disappointment. 

    Any update on this one? I’ve heard a sitting 16th region head coach is interested but nothing else. 

    Terrance Miles, former Thomas Nelson head coach, has accepted this position.
