Trinity 2015

What does Trinity need to do to improve in 2015? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I'm curious about who will get the QB position. After the past season I assumed Larry Harper was a shoe-in, but within the past couple of months I've heard that he has some competition for it. Anyone closer to the scene with more info?

From an earlier post: "Quarterback: This will be the biggest question mark coming into the season. The 2 leading candidates are Junior to be Larry Harper JR(5’10” 170) & sophomore to be Andrew Zaubi(6’2” 180). One would assume Harper will take the job due to having several starts under his belt from this past season but it will be an interesting battle to keep an eye on come spring, Zaubi is very talented as well."

Think you can add Spencer Blackburn as well as he had some very good starts on JV last season. All three can lead an offense but with distinct skill sets. This one, in my mind, won't be decided until the pads come on and the hitting starts. Can they see and read the defense and make a play in the face of a pass rush, especially early in the season.

Foos should have a big year at DE.

Senior to be Jake Woosley will be in the mix as well at QB, started at QB when he was a freshmen for the freshmen team & has played some QB at the JV level as well along with being a starting wide receiver for the Varsity last year.

Woosley also started some varsity games at Corner when he was a Soph. Should be a really solid competition at QB. If the Rocks can find that guy...like Ryan Young at QB last year(going to Butler University)...you have to think they will be in pretty good shape. Lot of depth at most positions on both sides of the ball.

Any idea on the pre-season scrimmage yet?? Hearing rumors of Henry Clay? Still disappointed Highlands cancelled on us & not bc we've had some recent success against them but I just really enjoyed having an opportunity to go to Highlands & watch a game, such a neat venue!
