  1. If Male has a weakness, it is there pass defense. In round 1, Shelby Co. scored 2 if not 3 touchdowns on throwing the ball against the 1 on 1 coverage outside. Just don't know if SK will try to throw against them or not. Wish SK the best of luck.
  2. That game ended with Jerry Clines pass thrown at a Daytons reciever feet to end the game in the endzone. The best high school game that I have personally witnessed. Yes Jason Skirvin was an absolute beast.
  3. Hey officer, can you get my whistle that is stuck in my lower gum?
  4. Vey funny insight, would definetly make officiating easier.
  5. I have heard that at the state rules clinic, the KHSAA has ruled that there is one type of cutter glove that could be ruled illegal. They say you can litteraly pick a football off the ground with just the palm touching the ball only. I would not be surprised to see all cutter brands of gloves banned in the near future.
  6. Another great pick off move to get out of a jam. Runner on 3rd base. Most pitchers go from the full wind-up. Start your motion by using your foot to move about and releasing yourself from the rubber. Will almost guarantee the runer on 3rd breaks with your motion. Stepping back with your opposite foot, you have the runner nailed. Friend was taught this in college, and was a pro at this. Success rate was very high.
  7. Eric Glaser form Highlands was the best I faced. He struck out 1-9 the first time through the lineup. I believe he may have only been a freshman or sophmore then. Only got better after that.
  8. Stock down: Scotty H. Does not move with out the ball on offense. Very good getting to the hole with the ball in is hands, but no movement without. I was least impressed with his defense. Can't count how many times he was the last man down the court. Being as tall as he is, did not attempt to block any shots in the paint. JMO, was fairly lazy on the defensive end. With that said, he will be an impact player at the next level.
  9. Any word on final of Dayton/Bellvue game.
  10. A former coach of mine got T'd up and tossed out of the game in the early moments of a game in the Lexcath tourney. As the bus was leaving after the game, it backed up and crushed a car directly behind it. I am sure you know how this story ends. Thats right, the car belonged to the official who T'd the coach up.
  11. Couldn't agree more.
  12. Just a little bit to stir your mind. The illegal touching penalty also should bring a loss of down. It was 1st down. They replayed never gave the loss of down. Marked off yardage and replayed 1st down when actually should have been 2nd down. If you remember, this was the same series, that LCA went for it on 4th down and short, and got the first down. They had an extra down. This is also the same drive, that went 80 yards for the and ended with the BW int. on the goal line. That drive should have been 3 and out. I hope that the KHSAA makes some changes in deciding who gets these big games.
  13. Watched the LCA, Hazard game and heard alot of talk about how big Hazard was. If they only knew about the Beechies. Having seen both teams play, i say Beechies by 10.
  14. Would like to hear some stats from both teams. How will this game shape up?
  15. Don't understand. You say Dayton will do whatever to win, and then you say Dayton football has been showing class. They only have one loss. Just don't understand your quote. Don't blame the band.
  16. Face gaurding in high school will get you a 15 yard penalty.
  17. Boy, that fbrules sure does like to share his wealth of wisdom. thanks
  18. Just looking for some numbers. Wasn't Reardon a pretty solid passer at New Richmond. Was not at the game, but the few times I have seen HC, they run the ball alot. I was thinking Reardon threw up pretty big passing yardage at NR.
  19. Hard fought for both teams.
  20. Way to go Devils. Could not attend, but the scoring margin was a little bigger than I expected. Maybe the Davis field crowd was rocking. Keep your eye on the prize. Congrats.
  21. Thoughts and prayers are with the hausfeld family. Have known Mr. Ed for a long time. Having Bellevue as our rival in every sport, got to know how great a man he was. I recall after I graduated, being at a baseball, Mr. Ed trying to carry a water cooler 3/4 full, and a cane in one hand. Just glad he accepted our help, as it was the least we could do for him. Always had my upmost respect as sure he did many others. rest in peace.
  22. Let's here some thoughts. Didn't see anything yet.
  23. The couple games i have seen CC this year, the tight end is a stud. Seen hime twice and had 3 tds each against Conner and Holmes. Very big kid and good spped as well as excellent hands. Going to be a great one at CC.
  24. Just watched the game on ICN6. I am hearing all about the Ellliot kid being in; but how about aiding the ball carrier by number 4, shown plain as day in the film. How about ya, Reggie Bush?
