  1. Big rn must have some hatred somewhere. Lol. It's just a high school sport with high school kids. I think Warren Central beats Meade this week. I think PRP will get John Hardin at home in a close game.
  2. I think JH will be fine. I give Coach Lewis credit for suspending kids if they weren't doing what they were supposed too. What most don't realize is Jh is still very young. Many sophomores and juniors starting for them. I think they will be fine. North is very good on offense from what I hear. Big numbers last Friday. Should be an interesting game. It will be a big tell for both teams I would guess.
  3. Spencer has a nice team. Coach Marksbury does a great job, but Bardstown is not very good. It's going to be a long year for the Tigers.
  4. South warren is going to dominate the LOS every week with that team. It will happen every Friday night. Grown men on that defense. John Hardin didn't help themselves either by "giving" A very good team points. SW will be undefeated. John will get better I think and win several games. SW will do this to a lot of people this year.
  5. Laugher.... Etown rolls in this one. They will Name the score.
  6. I think South Warren will win this match up. They have all seniors returning from last years 13-1 team. I expect that will be the difference early in the season. John Hardin is still a young team with high expectations. I hope JH wins, but I think South is the early pick.
  7. I heard John Hardin had 3 big lineman move in this year. A Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior. The junior is the real big kid according to my sources. I don't know if he can play, but I saw him at practice with his parents one day. I would guess 6'5 320 from a distance. He was a large person.
  8. Central Hardin looked really good. They have a bunch of seniors returning from last years excellent team. They will be hard to handle. Big and physical even at the skill positions. Lineman were big and athletic looking. North looked very good offensively too. Qb was on the money and he has some nice big/tall receivers to throw to. John looked ok at times and not so good at times. Qb forced some balls that ended up being picked and you can't have that in 7-7. Central might be the best team in the area again. I think John and North will be good too. IMO 7-7 is hard to judge because without lines being involved a false sense of security can be there. It seemed to me several balls thrown in the middle of the field never happen with an o line and d line in front of the QB. It's good practice and competition for the kids. If this is true about Witherspoon at JH someone needs to tell him that bball is probably not where is future lies. I saw him play bball this year and he is a good player, but he is elite in football.
  9. Since John Hardin was formed in 2001 they have won 123 games. They have won 6 regional titles and went to the state finals in 2009. Why would they not be considered on this list.
  10. What would be an educated guess in finish in the Collins, North Oldham, Spencer, and Franklin Co district ? Is there a 5th team in this district? I don't know all the teams in the new alignment.
  11. I predict 6-4 or 7-3. Several toss up games. I'm sure Coach Lewis would take 7-3 with that schedule and lack of seniors on this particular team. 3 district wins (I hope) and I think they win 3 or 4 of the non district games.
  12. Brutal schedule outside the district again. Could be .500 early, but will a tough out in the playoffs. Playing mainly 6A schools and a couple 5A schools outside the district games (4A). 4 straight games opening the year on the road won't be easy either.
  13. I don't think they will start as slow (injuries hurt this year), but they will hit some bumps I think. South Warren will be a tough opener and is a possible loss. John is playing several stout 6A schools so a slow start is possible. It's scary to say knowing that they will still be a young team next year.
  14. John plays a brutal schedule too. Semi finalist: South Warren and Meade Co. Also, PRP, Christian Co (returns everybody previous post), Central Hardin, and Warren Central. Buckle up!! Weak district though.
  15. John Hardin plays South Warren early in the year I believe. The Etown paper had next years opponents listed, but it did not list specific weeks. I know district games are normally late in the season.
  16. Next year will not be the most talented team ever at John. The talent at JH is in the sophomore and junior classes. The senior class to be is not talented. JH might still be a year away from being really good. Was North Oldham young this year?
  17. How good will they be next year? Will they be the 4A favorite?
  18. I can guarantee Coach Lewis wasn't looking ahead to BG. I doubt that he even expected to be playing in the semi finals more less looking ahead to BG. No way that happened. Great run by John Hardin. They will be very good the next 3 years IMO.
  19. Is there a twitter feed that provides updates.
  20. I agree with Hardin co prep. Youthful group and this year has been nothing short of a miracle during the playoffs. Jh has played the underdog role throughout the playoffs and once again will find itself as the dog in this matchup. From what I read Graves has a senior laden team. Jh will have its work cut out this week to get a W. I am afraid the great run might halt this week. Graves must be very tough to beat a BG team on the road. I can't wait until Friday night!!
  21. Central has not had a huge crowd yet in the playoffs, why do you think they will now. If the band doesn't perform, you lose 200 band parents. They usually leave at halftime anyway.
  22. I am obviously a huge JH fan and homer, but if they win Friday they aren't in the same league as BG or Graves as I have said earlier posts. Too much youth I think to match somebody that powerful. I'm just glad they made a deep playoff run and everything else is gravy in my eyes. I know I never thought they would be this deep in the playoffs. So win or lose this week the season ended on a positive note. At one point there was doubt if they would make the playoffs after the loss to North Hardin. Great turn around.
