ATLCat Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 1. Madisonville North Hopkins 2. South Warren 3. Franklin Simpson 4. North Oldham 5. Ashland 6. Warren Central 7. Johnson Central 8. Russell County 9. Bourbon County 10. Warren East Having Johnson Central at #7 is criminally low. With what they have coming back putting past 2nd is even hard to comprehend. For my money Johnson Central is the pre-season #1 .
Hellcats Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 1. Johnson Central Huge gap 2. South Warren 3. John Hardin 4. Ashland 5. Warren Central 6. franklin Simpson 7. Collins 8. North oldham 9. Bourbon county 10. Wayne County There are another 5 that could be.
groundattack Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 "huge gap", I can't make a comment like that but I feel pretty confident in saying the most talented team is John Hardin. The only reason I put them second is they may be one year away but their talent is scary.
JDEaston Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Everyone has Ashland ranked too high. I'd put them in the 8-10 range.
Hellcats Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Tbh I have little faith in my picks. Johnson should be the best, but past that 2-15 aren't separated by much. It will be a fun season !!
Paradise City Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Madisonville lost a great senior group, they will have to reload and win some games before being a top 5 team in the state again.
coach1980 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Scott will be able to beat some top 10 teams. I agree. I also like us staying under everyones radar. Can't wait to upset some teams this season .
Doubletake1906 Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 This entire Class is a tough one too call because all of the top teams in 4A last season have either moved up to 5A or down to 3A.... When determining which teams should be placed where in my list, I first determined where they ranked in their perspective classes last season, and went from there. Because of that, it is very hard for me to call anyone the clear cut favorite. If there was a clear cut favorite, an argument could be made for South Warren considering their Top 4 finish last season in 3A, while also returning their entire team from last season.

Just being curious but what made you put Russell County in the top 10. They were last in their district. Do they have a nice young class coming up?
Big East Zebra Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 South Warren was very young last year and were pretty darn good, I think the 4-A Class will be the most competitive of the 6 classes.
Elliot Stabler Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 No idea how one would have Ashland above JC, considering they have 18 of 22 starters back from a team that has beat Ashland a combined 84-14 the past two seasons.
