I haven't seen much on here about Warren Central. What will be their strengths?

Size and speed of their skill will be unmatched by any in 4A other than maybe John Hardin...what they may lack are linemen, but with Warren Central you never know what you're going to get up-front when the season starts; could be undersized or they could show up with a couple no-names that become household names very quickly.

Raider I read on another site that Reynolds has transferred or left Warren East. Have you heard this?

Collins will be back in the mix this year after some called a "rebuilding" year. Their sophomore-to-be QB has a whole year under his belt now. Return every linemen from last years team. Also, with Highlands and Boyle reclassifying no one in 4A has more 4A championships than Collins if my research is right. Does this mean that Collins is the new "powerhouse" in 4A?

Collins will be loaded. They will be playing a hard non conference schedule to prepare them for playoffs. Last year was strictly a bridge year. That will be back.

 

I agree with the assessment, the district they are in is one of the tougher in 4A. Collins definitely has some talent but John Hardin is at a different level. District 4 enjoyed the last four years being on the weaker side of 4A, now they are on the strong side of 4A. There will be no easy games trying to get to BG.

The way the question was worded I believe they are only asking for current 4a schools that have won 4a championships. For some reason we are not counting total championships for the current 4a teams.

 

As often as schools get bumped up and down in class size, it changes the number of championships for some schools drastically, as far as the way the question was worded. For instance it was mentioned that Ashland has two 4a championships, however I believe they have 12 total state championships.

What would be an educated guess in finish in the Collins, North Oldham, Spencer, and Franklin Co district ? Is there a 5th team in this district? I don't know all the teams in the new alignment.

Yes, Shelby County is the 5th team. It will most likely be Collins, Franklin County, and North Oldham in the top 3 spots and Shelby County and Spencer County battling for the 4th spot. Spencer might be able to get the 3rd seed. I'm not really sure on what Franklin County has coming back, so that's just a guess on my part. It should be a very competitive district.

Don't know what Franklin has returning, Collins and Spencer return a bunch. North Oldham and Shelby were hit pretty hard with graduation. 5 pretty solid teams in this district.

Very solid 5 team district. Collins will also play Montgomery Co. in the Rec Bowl, Bullitt East, Eastern, Central Hardin and Anderson County.

IMO, Bourbon Co is too high in many of these early projections. Johnson Central should clearly be somewhere in the top 3. Franklin-Simpson is the one team 4A folks need not overlook. Coach Preston really has the program headed in the right direction. They'll make noise this year.

I thought that was who you were talking about. I watched them play a few times last year and he was a big time player on both sides of the ball. I watched him play a JV game against SW and I think he had 5 TD's in that game.

Saul Brady. Started on defense as a freshman last season. Looked like a starter on offense at the end. Speed for days and physical. IMO the kid from WE doesn't have anything over him except he carried the ball about 20 times more per game last season. I suspect that will change for Brady.
