I must admit, I know nothing about Graves County. Anyone that can help explain what they do offensively and defensively as well as their strengths and weaknesses would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to add the poll. Can a Moderator please help.

I like both teams, but have not seen John Hardin in person. Graves County's defense can play with anybody. It's their offense that I'm not sure of. Hardest hitting team I've seen in years. I have to go with Graves County 14-7.

Going with John Hardin in this one, mainly because I am a homer. I know nothing about Graves County, other than they have a good RB and are very physical. JH has played several very physical teams so they should be able to handle that.

If you can beat Bowling Green then you can beat John Hardin

John Hardin 14-13.

Nice. Going with the 2012 BG/JH score but this time JH ends up on top. I like it.

This will be an excellent game. Graves County is a good team. Their star running back is just as good a defensive player as he is an offensive player. They play at least 6 guys both ways. And all 6 are really good (2 LBs, 3 down lineman and 1 safety I think). On offense they use their RB, but I was really impressed with their QB as he was very elusive and made passes when they needed them. On defense I think they will load the box on John and dare them to throw and they are tough up the middle.

After seeing both teams, I think John has better overall skill guys and more speed, but Graves is likely tougher. I think those 6 guys I mentioned are all likely upperclassmen. Turnovers and the kicking game will determine this game.

I like John at home 13-12.

Hopefully they practice defending the hook and ladder this week ;)

Most memorable game I've ever been to.

I was following the updates while at Coopers game and I thought for sure it was going to be a Cooper/John Hardin final

I was at that game and it was truly unbelievable. Everyone was just stunned

Unlikely scenario that John would be in the 5A state semifinals after having to beat Grayson County to even get into the playoffs. Also consider that a majority of the team is underclassmen, and the next few years should be something special at John Hardin.

I agree with Hardin co prep. Youthful group and this year has been nothing short of a miracle during the playoffs. Jh has played the underdog role throughout the playoffs and once again will find itself as the dog in this matchup. From what I read Graves has a senior laden team. Jh will have its work cut out this week to get a W. I am afraid the great run might halt this week. Graves must be very tough to beat a BG team on the road. I can't wait until Friday night!!
