  1. Wow I hope that is self-deprecating sarcasm and not a sincere opinion.
  2. Western by 9, let's say 44-35. Go Big Red!
  3. Aren't JV games 10 min quarters? Makes 52 points all the more impressive.
  4. I see where SK & Scott Co. are both off this weekend. Think a scout or two might bop over to the 'Ville?
  5. Top 5 better thread titles: 5. Jaywalker Arrested for not Following Officer's Instructions. 4. Angry Youth Arrested for Non-Compliance. 3. Yet another Instance of Poor Parenting in Today's Society. 2. Well Trained Cops Handle Unfortunate Situation in California. 1. Ladies and Gentlemen: Another BGP Hot Button Topic!
  6. Let's say that 2% of all officers are bad/racist/antagonizing/etc. And I don't think the percentage is anywhere close to that high. That means there is a 49 out of 50 chance that a good cop is doing the civic job he is sworn to do. Maybe people should follow their instructions first and then file a civil lawsuit if they think they have genuinely been wronged. Just a thought.
  7. All I know about NH is that Andre Woodson went there (at least I think he did.) I am going with the South Side Colts!
  8. This is WAY to difficult too pass judgement on without a very in depth knowledge of all the facts of the case.
  9. Always happy to see the Purples succeed. This will depend on scheduling, more precisely the philosophy of scheduling. The football gods punished BG for backing out of a game to (some would say) keep the streak alive. It is a catch 22 whether they want to schedule X, T, or TN schools or take on easier KY opponents.
  10. Of these choices for me it is Battleship & Wiffle Ball and then a gap to the rest.
  11. The difference in the two schools is that X is German Catholic and T is Irish Catholic. Neither "better" than the other, but each better at what they do. Old school Catholics will understand.
  12. Back to the game: If the T defense shows up that played at Brentwood and against PRP then the Rocks will be fine. If they are on their heels like against H there could be problems. T needs a BIG game from their O-line.
  13. And I know of 2 kids (both freshmen football players at the time) who were going to have to serve suspensions at T for substance abuse and instead transferred to X and were eligible right away. That train travels in both directions.
  14. If Duece and Victor had won 6 state championships between them then everyone would be throwing stones at them. But you can win one and fly under the radar.
  15. PRP is not the litmus test. I'll still take T, 28-21 (but I hope it's T with a running clock)
  16. Timmons downed that nicely at the 3. Geez...
  17. 3rd & 4th quarters were only 8 minutes each. T quarterback only threw 4 passes all night. That might be an all-time low for a Bob Beatty QB at T.
  18. I have no problem with it. Newspapers are supposed to stir controversy in the editorial section.
  19. They seemed to do better when they scrimmaged T at the beginning of the season. I'm just saying.
  20. My grandfather (obviously left-handed) was forced to write right-handed in the 1910's... his handwriting was shaky his entire life
  21. I am very sorry for your loss. My father passed away 3 1/2 years ago and it seems like it was only last week. A part of him will always be with you.
  22. X is better than #6 . If X somehow were to play SK again in a playoff scenario I would take the Tigers all day long and twice on Sunday.
  23. Raping teenage boys is a status symbol? Murdering your 12-yr old daughter for kissing a boy is accepted? Are these their religious beliefs or strictly a cultural thing or both? It makes you want to vomit.
  24. I am going with 45-7. T should certainly win, and perhaps with a running clock, but PRP will not lie down by any means.
  25. But after X, SK & Scott, I think PRP is in that next tier and they are one of the Jefferson Co. teams that seems to be on the rise.
