Congrats to all players picking up the preseason honor for the metro area. Additional players on the list with some new names and faces worthy of getting recognition. Nice group of football players from the metro area! Way to go guys.

Can't wait to see 11 or more of the guys face the Shamrocks this year. Good luck to all.

There were 2-3 other LBs that really tough to leave off, including Duncan and the PRP linebacker Marcel Kilgore.

Yep.. and not doubting the choice whatsoever either...just acknowledging how good Duncan is despite not making it. Testament to the kids who did make the list.

A Sophomore made it? Will have to keep an eye on him. Good luck to all of them.

Don't know about the kid from Doss but Brents is super talented. Had offers from UK and UofL as a middle schooler and started as a frosh for a very good Manual team before transferring offseason. 24/7 has him ranked #38 in the nation for his class.

I believe doing the old format of talking about the teams and having the coaches pick who wins their district did for me. I seen several teams get hyped up because where they were ranked or not ranked. To have some one pick a kid as preseason all county is a little ridiculous.
