After watching X on film last week against Henry Clay I am going to disagree for now.

It will be a 3 or 4 team race but not X.

The new OC is the real deal lot of new starters only going to get better watch out for the Tigers!

I'd say BG is better than Henry Clay and the goal is to get better every week. They may be much improved from the Henry Clay.

The new OC is the real deal lot of new starters only going to get better watch out for the Tigers!

 

I do agree with you that the offense has a lot of potential and in my opinion you could tell they had a bunch of Greenhorns.

Anyone who ever counts X out before district play is crazy. X usually gets better week after week. Some years they stall out mid-season, but it is rare the first game of the season, or a scrimmage, ever says anything about X at the end of the season

I'll admit I said/thought that, but obviously they've found their QB & he's really really good & things are obviously clicking. I predicted X would win this one too btw!!

Trinity and Male lead the way, but that in no way means X wouldn't be in the running. They always are, there's a reason for that.

Hate it or not..but if St.X is now a contender then I think SK has to be in that discussion as well

I've seen all 3 play this year ( T, H, and X). T and H would be the clear favorite ON PAPER. But as this X - BG game showed me, the game isnt played on paper. X has a punchers chance against both.

It's hard to tell. Maybe X isn't as down as we thought. From what I have read here it sounds like settling on a QB has made a huge difference, perhaps X is taking the same approach to their offense that T has over the years. Install more week by week and develop it as the season goes on. If that is their method then you will likely see a different X squad than you did in their scrimmage with SK.

 

Either way I am not concerned about SK as their defense seems "porous" to quote some people from last season.
