I have my share of friends, both white and black. My son's best friend at school for years was black - spent the night often and he went with us on family vacations. But guess what? That fine young boy has become a fine young gang thug and my son is no longer allowed to see him. In fact, 4 years ago he told my son that his (black) friends told him to quit hanging out with him (this was about age 12). My son was floored. He said his friend even looked like he was going to cry. Still makes me want to cry when I think about it. I could care less if Farrakan or this guy leaves this earth today. For me personally they are problem causers, not problem solvers.

My son said T fell behind 2-0 early and then came back to win. That's all I know.

If WKU can play that badly on the road against an SEC team and get the victory, then this could be a pretty fun year in BG.

If you wear cut offs, a mesh tank top and flip-flops they will remember you FOREVER. In fact, they will talk about you often for the rest of their lives - birthday parties, Thanksgiving, anniversaries, any time the family gets together.

Either way I am OK with it, there just has to be a respectful tone to the area and not a laugh/joke/play area to cool off.

OK I am in the minority, but I am on board with them and here is why: Maybe the people who are fortunate enough to cool off from those misting fans will understand how AWFUL it would have been to be put to death in that very same manner. It is a hands on experience, albeit a morbid one. Those who do not study the past are condemned to relive it. I think that there should be signs saying that one can only use the misting fans in silence, in respect for the thousands that perished in that same manner.

And I heard that one of their more recent uniforms (the black ones?) were a misprint for another team and T was able to get them dirt cheap. Not sure if that's true or not, but I heard it from a couple of folks.

I know a couple of kids on T's defense. They took it personal that Brentwood scored 13 points on them. I think LL will score, but will be held to less than 13. I also think T's running game will absolutely wear LL down all night long. Sprinkle in some opportunistic passing plays and T will tally 35+. My prediction: 45-7 Rocks.

Up year, down year, doesn't really matter. BG & X always have the type of team that can beat anyone on a given night.

As a former Purple I am always pulling for BG :-) This is the #1 game in the state this weekend IMO.

On a serious note: remember bout 15 years ago when they came out with green & purple ketchup? it was supposed to taste just like regular ketchup and be fun for the kids. There was probably more food coloring than tomato in those things.

A similar poll in Tennessee would probably have a 4-1 margin in favor of Brentwood.

This game is ESPN worthy. Possibly the 2 best teams in the entire 2-state area. I say the margin will be 10 points or less and whoever wins the special teams battle and turnover margin wins it. I don't see either team sustaining consecutive long drives on the other.
