They seemed to do better when they scrimmaged T at the beginning of the season. I'm just saying.

X is better than #6 . If X somehow were to play SK again in a playoff scenario I would take the Tigers all day long and twice on Sunday.

I am going with 45-7. T should certainly win, and perhaps with a running clock, but PRP will not lie down by any means.

But after X, SK & Scott, I think PRP is in that next tier and they are one of the Jefferson Co. teams that seems to be on the rise.

Say what you want about Wolford at X, but at the end of the day he is the only guy mentioned so far that KNOWS what it takes to win with an NFL roster. Is he the best coach? Probably not. But he has a bullet on his resume that no one else has.

This is a Big Bang Theory matchup. Jim Parsons plays Dr. Sheldon Cooper vs. Simon Helberg who plays Howard Wolowitz. Don't know if anyone else made the connection, but there seems to be something there...

SK has to score at least 1 point in 20+ quarters of head-to-head action before they even think about riding in the same car (let alone the front seat) as T.

I think the top 6 are spot on, but I would have Manual & X tied for 5th until they play each other.

Let's say for the sake of argument that Male, Trinity, and Scott Co. are the top three teams in 6A. I think any of them beat any other top three teams in their class (3A, 4A, whatever). The question then becomes can Simon Kenton or St. X or Manual beat the #4 , #5 , & #6 teams in those divisions? I am going to go with "yes". Could there be an upset on a given night? Sure. But play the games 10 times and all 6 of the 6A teams will sport a 9-1 record (except for H & T which will be 10-0). 6A all day long.

BTW, the exception to the colleges not being able to beat the pros (or high schools being able to beat colleges) is baseball. With a stud pitcher on the mound and a couple of errors by your opponent, the underdog could sneak out 1 victory in 50 tries. Easily.

Bishop Gorman could hang with Centre or Kentucky Weslyan, but a D1 school?! BG would be humiliated and suffer a number of injuries in the process.

Whoever loses the T vs. H game should remain #2 , provided the margin is 14 pts. or less.

T is trying to remain the underdog for the X game.

I am betting T's student section (which has been off the chart this season) will be as large as H's. This will be an electric night. I hoping for 35-21 Trinity, and furthermore hoping everyone on both sides (players/fans/parents) behave themselves and remember it is a high school football game.

FYI: Game is kicking off 5 minutes late for a 9/11 ceremony (well done H). Treat it like church and be in your seats by 7:30.

I think Beatty, Cobb, Coverdale, & Co. would win state with the Lafayette players if they had them four four years and those kids put in the extra time and bought into the system.
