  1. I'm a clean freak, but not a neat freak.
  2. I voted wrong because the poll question is different than the thread title, LOL. These results need to be reviewed by the Florida states attorney's office for hanging chads.
  3. 1) People who talk on their cell phone in a store. 2) People with greasy hair. 3) My wife leaving the hair dryer on the bathroom counter. 4) People who cannot do simple math (if my lunch is $5.76 and I give you $11.01, by definition I want a five dollar bill and a quarter in return!... not five ones two dimes and 5 pennies. DUH!)
  4. Whichever team is currently coached by Bobby Petrino. (Though I looked the other way when he was at WKU.)
  5. All I know is that there is about a 0% chance that #1 & #2 will change next week. In all the years I have been on this site, Open has never beaten Male (or anyone for that matter), and I cannot comprehend T falling at home to Eastern.
  6. Personal opinions? 1) Pitino knew 2) Pitino wish he didn't know 3) Money is the root of college basketball evils 4) The only thing that will now change at universities coast to coast is that they will be more careful
  7. Coaching and defense earn the victory. X wins, 20-15.
  8. Friend emailed me about this game. Said X was up 7-2 in the 4th quarter and then T scored 22 in under 8 minutes. Anyone have details? I am thinking there must have been a turnover or two.
  9. Pet peeve #1: people who have to come to a near stop to make a right hand turn Pet peeve #2: people who do not know the difference between "yield", "merge", and "lane added"
  10. Very good game. Back and forth the entire time.
  11. Ellison & Bethel are starters; Smith might as well be. Lage is a back-up, but a good one. Also Cole Spencer is a junior.
  12. 75 votes and 160+ posts, most of which don't even involve the game. How about everyone (myself included) stick to football and leave financial aid, CSAA, JV players, etc. to other forums?
  13. If X wins 10 titles in 12 years maybe T folks will post things like this. I hope I will never know.
  14. Great guy, wish him all the best. Except when he plays Kentucky. Then I hope he makes all the wrong decisions he could possible make.
  15. Also, per the KHSAA is it perfectly within the rules to give the one family $10,000 and the other nothing (or the second family $1000 and the first nothing). You just cannot give over the demonstrated need. I don't know how X gives out their money. They do not disclose.
  16. If there is demonstrated need, then yes. But if one family has a $10,000 demonstrated need and another has a $1000 demonstrated need then (assuming T can meet around 65% of need) one family gets $6500 and the other gets $650.
  17. Good point: Back to the game. I have seen T play a few times and they should win it with defense. Woosley just has to not try to do too much, which he has been great at doing all season. Just get the ball to Reed, Jones, Carrico, Burns, Smith and let them do their thing. The O-line for the Rocks better treat this like a rematch of the Male game and play angry (inspired). If X can sustain a couple of drives with a balance of run/pass (and the occasional trick play) this will be a dogfight. Earlier I took T 28-21 and I am sticking with that. A 40-0 T win would not surprise me, but neither would a 22-17 loss. X hanging a running clock on the Rocks would be the only thing that would surprise me.
  18. Trinity is giving 2.7 million in aid this year. And they distribute it equally - based on percentage needed - to all regardless of their need. X does not disclose how they distribute.
  19. Motorcycle accident. Lady doing probably 45 clipped my front wheel and sent me onto her hood; my helmet shattered her windshield; I flew off the front of the car over my bike (I was told by witnesses about 20-25 feet through the air). Believe it or not I walked away with no broken bones and just a few scrapes (it was like slow motion going through the air, like I had time to think about it and knew I had to roll when I landed.) The pain was actually the next day. When I say every muscle in my body hurt I mean literally... every... single... muscle... was as sore as it could be. Couldn't get out of bed without terrible pain; couldn't bend at the knees or elbows without cringing. My entire body must have tensed up 100% and then some during the accident.
  20. X faithful know exactly who the T players are from the first time they play as freshmen. X casual fans learn who they are over the next 4 years. X elitists don't care; they only know 3 possible outcomes. 1) We won because we were better, 2) the scoreboard may not say we won but we were the better team, and 3) you are inferior because you have a handful of non-CSAA players and therefore we are better than you on a deeper, non-football level.
